TAPZERO Lands Kakao Ventures Seed Funding to Build Personal Digital Twin for Longevity

TAPZERO, a South Korean AI-driven longevity startup, has raised seed funding from Kakao Ventures.

The company is building a Personal Digital Twin platform that integrates and analyzes individual biometric data to identify optimal moments for health interventions. Its current lineup includes two apps: HRV Works, a wearable-powered biological age tracker based on heart rate variability (HRV), and Fasting Works, an AI nutrition analysis app. HRV Works processes data from wearable devices to deliver daily recovery scores and personalized behavioral guidance, while Fasting Works automatically analyzes nutritional content from a single photo of a meal.

Looking ahead, TAPZERO plans to combine data from both apps to build an AI model capable of estimating individual metabolic patterns without a continuous glucose monitor (CGM).

With this funding, the company will focus on improving AI analysis accuracy, advancing on-device AI capabilities, and expanding into global markets including North America. Over the longer term, TAPZERO aims to evolve into a Personal Decision Intelligence platform that connects health and financial data to support individual decision-making.

“TAPZERO will grow into a platform that uses wrist-worn data to shape today’s actions — and ultimately extend the healthy lifespan of each individual,” said Taeho Kim, CEO of TAPZERO.
