Neuble AI Raises $269K Seed Funding From Futureplay to Advance AI-Powered Brain Diagnostics

Neuble AI, a Korean startup developing AI-based diagnostic and analysis solutions for brain diseases, has raised a seed round of $269K (KRW 400 million). The round was led by Futureplay.

Founded by clinical faculty from Gangnam Severance Hospital — including a radiologist and a medical physicist specializing in radiation oncology — the company combines clinical experience with medical imaging AI to develop high-precision diagnostic support tools.

As Korea’s aging population drives a rise in Alzheimer’s disease and other degenerative brain conditions, demand for precise diagnosis and early screening is growing. The emergence of new dementia treatments such as Lecanemab has also fueled demand for solutions that can accurately identify eligible patients and monitor treatment effects and side effects, including amyloid-related imaging abnormalities (ARIA).

Neuble AI’s first commercial pipeline is BrainCura, an AI-powered solution that automatically measures brain volume from CT scans. While volumetric brain measurement has traditionally required MRI, BrainCura uses AI to analyze more accessible CT images, precisely measuring volume changes across brain regions to support diagnosis of degenerative brain diseases. The company plans to launch BrainCura in the second half of 2027, targeting not only university hospitals but also general checkup centers and regional dementia care centers, positioning the product as a screening and side-effect monitoring tool for use before and after dementia drug prescriptions.

Following BrainCura, Neuble AI plans to roll out SynCura, a solution that synthesizes MRI-quality images from CT scans. The technology is expected to improve diagnostic speed and accuracy for patients with acute brain conditions such as stroke.

With the new funding, Neuble AI will pursue regulatory approvals from Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, the U.S. FDA and Europe’s CE mark ahead of BrainCura’s commercial launch in the second half of next year, while expanding proof-of-concept trials with checkup centers and dementia care centers, advancing the AI model behind SynCura, and hiring additional specialists.
