Dunamu & Partners, the investment arm of Dunamu, has made a follow-on investment in AIRS Medical, a Korean AI-powered medical imaging company. Dunamu & Partners first backed AIRS Medical in its Series C round in 2024, and its cumulative investment now totals $6.24M (KRW 9.7 billion). The latest round also drew participation from TA Associates, a global private equity firm managing $65 billion in assets.

AIRS Medical develops SwiftMR, an AI solution that cuts MRI scan times by up to 50% and upgrades low-quality MRI images into high-resolution scans, along with SwiftSight, a platform for MRI quantification and structured reporting. The company’s solutions are currently used by more than 1,700 medical institutions across over 40 countries, supporting more than 6 million AI-assisted scans annually.
With the new capital, AIRS Medical plans to expand its footprint in the US and European markets, extend its solutions further into clinical applications, and advance next-generation AI technology.
“We will focus on expanding our business in core markets like the US and Europe and developing next-generation AI technology to solidify our leadership in the global medical imaging AI category,” said Jangsoon Park, CEO of AIRS Medical.
