Medical AI startup Evom AI has secured seed bridge funding led by Klim Ventures, building on its initial seed round from the same investor in September 2025. The company disclosed the funding on December 12 but did not reveal the deal size. The round follows Evom AI’s selection for the Deep Tech TIPS program.

The funding coincides with key regulatory wins. In March, Evom AI obtained digital medical device registration from Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) for Evom FastEcho, its first commercial product. The echocardiography solution automatically classifies 42 cardiac views and displays 56 structural measurements and morphological parameters, helping clinicians interpret scans more efficiently. In May, the company passed its initial Korea Good Manufacturing Practice (KGMP) audit for digital medical devices, establishing a verified quality management system. These approvals enable Evom AI to expand its cardiac AI lineup across echocardiography (Evom FastEcho) and electrocardiography (Evom ECG).
Evom AI was founded by medical AI specialists who previously worked at Lunit and other healthcare technology firms, where they led AI development, clinical research, global regulatory affairs, and commercialization. The team focuses on early diagnosis and predictive AI for cardiac diseases.
CEO Hyunsub Nam said the latest funding and regulatory milestones mark the company’s transition from research phase to a market-ready supplier. He noted that the team will now prioritize rapid productization of its ECG solution to build a cardiac AI portfolio that clinicians can trust in real-world settings.
Hongkyu Nam, CEO of Klim Ventures, highlighted Evom AI’s execution speed. He pointed to the company’s ability to secure MFDS registration and KGMP certification within a year of the initial investment as an exceptional achievement, driven by the founding team’s commitment to embedding regulatory and quality rigor from day one.
